Switch Kraft SK 5
Air-cooled switch-mode power supplies – Switch Kraft SK5 & SK15
The Switch Kraft SK5 & SK15 rectifiers are primarily designed to supply
power to electrolytic finishing processes. KraftPowercon AB has used
its many years of experience in switch technology to develop these rectifiers
for use in applications where compact dimensions, reliability and a high-quality
power supply are important. The design is based on primary switch technology,
a technology that KraftPowercon AB has pioneered in the electroplating
industry.
Main features of three-phase Switch Kraft
• Small dimensions
• Low weight
• High efficiency
• High accuracy
• Low DC ripple
• Designed for continuous operation at full load
• Both constant current and constant voltage regulation
• Very high power factor
• Large range of standard sizes
• Adapted for control/monitoring by external control system
The rectifier is designed to be operated from a manual control unit
or master control system. The manual control unit contains a voltmeter
and ammeter, potentiometers for adjusting voltage and current, an ON/OFF
switch and a power ON lamp and “ALARM” lamp.
