Kraft Electronics Shanghai Co Ltd

After ten years of co-operation with a Chinese manufacturer, Kraftelektronik decided in 2005 to set up its own operation for sales, service and manufacturing in Shanghai. In August 2005 Kraft Electronics Shanghai Co Ltd was established as the result of major investment by Kraftelektronik.

The majority of employees and facilities used by Kraft Electronics Shanghai came from the company Kraftelektronik cooperated with to manufacture high-voltage and high-current power supplies. The extensive experience of the workforce comes from many years of working with Kraft and other Swedish companies.

Kraft Electronics Shanghai will work with Kraft Electronics Hong Kong to provide the entire Asian region with sales, technical support, service and products from the Kraftelektronik product lines.

This production site is the third established by Kraft and will serve Kraft global sales and the Asian market in particular, with a variety of products. Manufacturing currently consists of high-voltage products for electro precipitator processes, such as transformer rectifiers and control cabinets, and high-current products for electroplating processes, such as the Flex Kraft product line.

Manufacturing is driven by customer orders and gives customer a high degree of flexibility.

Company headquarters are located in the centre of Shanghai, in the Putuo district, while production is situated in the Fengxian district south of the city. The production facility has an area of 1, 300 square metres and uses processes and technology transferred from Kraft Sweden to manufacture Kraft products.

The company has been certified according to ISO 9001 since 2006.
