Kraftelektronik has a very long history and began manufacturing rectifiers back in 1935. In 1945 the company developed rectifiers for use in electrochemical processes. Over the years an enormous number of rectifiers have been supplied to industry around the world for many different applications. Since the 1970s the bulk of production has centred on rectifiers for electrochemical processes.

A particularly successful development was the introduction of rectifiers using “primary switch technology”, which Kraftelektronik was first to do in 1983 with the introduction of this technology in the surface finishing industry. Since then over 25,000 rectifiers of this type have been supplied to every corner of the world. Most of these have been supplied to the electronics industry for the copperplating process when manufacturing PCB's.

Consequently our company’s products are installed in large numbers all over the world, and a complete list of past customers would be very long indeed.
