Inverters

An inverter in combination with a battery system provides an uninterruptible AC supply. These units are developed for applications where availability is a high priority, such as power plants, switchgear, process installations and communication equipment.

The inverters are HF switched, which results in light, compact modules that allow flexible configuration in 19” racks. High efficiency gives low losses and a high yield on battery capacity.

For maximum availability, inverters are equipped with a static switch for uninterrupted changeover to an alternative AC supply in the event of overload. Inverter systems are built up in 19” racks that include circuit breakers and a manual bypass for safe, uninterrupted isolation of the system for scheduled maintenance.

The INVB inverter module has compact dimensions (19” 4HE) a rugged construction, low weight and connections at the front for easy installation and minimal space requirements.

Accessories include a 19” rack for wall mounting, with built-in manual bypass, circuit breaker, fuses and terminals for stationary installation.

The PCI10 inverter system is built up using 4 kVA modules that can be connected in parallel for additional capacity, availability and reliability up to a total output of 48 kVA. The system is housed in a floor cabinet with 19” rack containing manual bypass, circuit breaker, fuses and terminals for stationary installation.
